Cloud Engineer – Windows, Linux Platform Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

• Transform standard operating procedures into automated routines.

• Enhance the daily effectiveness of systems and cloud management.

• Develop automation tools across a range of products and technologies.

• Supply automation runbooks to the cloud engineering team.

• Assist with core systems management.

• Execute advanced Windows server management on a large scale.

• Provide support for SaaS application platforms.

• Take part in an on-call pager rotation.

• Deliver level-3 support via a ticketing system.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of managing Microsoft and Linux platforms at scale within a SaaS deployment involving 100+ servers.

• More than 4 years of hands-on experience with tier-1 public cloud services: Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• At least 4 years of networking experience in a production environment at scale.

• Four or more years of implementing automation utilizing configuration-management tools in both Windows and Linux settings.

• A minimum of 4 years working with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch in a production context.

• 4 years of proficiency in Python, SQL, Terraform, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.

• Two years of practical experience with container scheduling engines such as Mesos, Docker, or Kubernetes.

• Two years of managing CI/CD solutions in a production environment, including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, or ArgoCD.

• Three years of experience providing level-3 support in a ticketing system: ServiceNow, Jira, etc.

• Familiarity with working in an Agile environment.

• Experience in a global organization.

• Knowledge of managing schema changes as code.

• Willingness to participate in an on-call pager rotation.
