Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implement and oversee cloud infrastructure and services across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP in accordance with customer specifications.

• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to establish requirements and a high-level design for cloud-based systems.

• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code to automate the provisioning and deployment processes.

• Develop scripts and tools to streamline operational and DevOps workflows.

• Monitor cloud environments for availability, performance, and cost, and address issues as they occur.

• Assist in the design and evolution of cloud architecture to enhance scalability, reliability, and security.

• Work alongside technical teams on demand management and the allocation of development resources.

• Document cloud infrastructure, pipelines, and architectural decisions for reference by the team and stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• At least 1 year of IT technical experience, with familiarity in cloud infrastructure or automation.

• Capability to obtain and retain a U.S. Government Public Trust or Security Clearance.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automating cloud operations.

• Experience with cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices.

• Relevant certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator/Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
