Cloud Engineer, Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sri Lanka.

📋 Description

• Support the design, implementation, and upkeep of AWS cloud infrastructure.

• Engage with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudFormation, and VPC.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitLab or similar platforms.

• Contribute to infrastructure automation and configuration management through Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Create automation scripts and tools using Python.

• Analyze data and produce insights to enhance assessment quality and user experience.

• Document technical processes and effectively communicate findings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in AI, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.

• Proficient programming skills in Python.

• Fundamental understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Capability to troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, application deployment, and pipeline-related issues.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Preferred hands-on experience with AWS.

• Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD or other CI/CD tools is advantageous.

• Basic knowledge of Docker and container technologies is preferred.

• Understanding of networking concepts such as VPC, DNS, load balancers, and security groups is preferred.

• Familiarity with APIs, backend development, or data pipelines is a plus.

• Interest in educational technology or assessment systems is preferred.
