This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Creating intricate cloud-native serverless applications.

• Developing and maintaining serverless functions using Typescript and Python.

• Employing Serverless technologies such as API management, serverless functions, event-driven architectures, and serverless databases and document stores.

• Implementing various integration patterns, from modern SaaS APIs utilizing GraphQL to traditional FTP-based integrations.

• Applying DevOps principles to enable teams to directly manage infrastructure through Git.

• Using Terraform for the provisioning and management of cloud resources.

• Leveraging design patterns and reference architectures to architect scalable and efficient cloud infrastructure.

• Maintaining a strong quality-first, test-driven approach to your work.

• Communicating effectively with excellent written and verbal skills.

• Familiarity with Diagrams-as-Code for documenting infrastructure architecture.

• Designing solutions while considering cross-cutting concerns such as observability and system security.

• Taking ownership of deployments within a true DevOps model.


⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in creating and deploying cloud infrastructure on platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Proficiency in Python and Docker for web API development.

• Familiarity with serverless technologies, including serverless functions, queues, file storage, API management, and key-value stores.

• Experience with various integration patterns and working with different APIs.

• Knowledge of DevOps principles and Git, ideally with experience in modern techniques such as Monorepos.

• Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code languages like Terraform and CloudFormation.

• Understanding of design patterns for constructing scalable and efficient systems.

• A quality-driven, test-first mindset.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with Diagrams-as-Code for documenting infrastructure architecture is advantageous.

• Understanding of modern authentication protocols such as OAuth2 and OIDC.

• Consideration of cross-cutting concerns like observability and security in infrastructure design.

• Contributions to open-source projects are a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
