This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Evaluate the current cloud infrastructure and offer suggestions for improvement
• Develop or modify Azure architectural designs
• Assist in enhancing performance, security, availability, and cost-efficiency
• Facilitate deployment automation and Infrastructure as Code initiatives
• Work collaboratively with DevOps, development, and security teams
• Play a role in monitoring, alerting, logging, and operational strategies
• Engage in incident analysis and the resolution of operational issues
• Create and document recommended guidelines and configurations
• Extensive experience with Azure cloud architecture
• Familiarity with modern application environments and PaaS offerings
• Proficient in automation and DevOps methodologies
• Strong grasp of cloud security issues
• Capability to collaborate with development and operations teams
• Exceptional technical documentation abilities
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD processes
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, and observability
• Understanding of cloud security, identity, and access management
• Expertise in designing high availability and resilient architectures
• Skills in cost and performance optimization
• Proficient in Azure API Management, Azure App Service, and Azure Functions
• Familiarity with Azure Front Door, Azure WAF, and Azure Key Vault
• Knowledge of Azure Service Bus, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Monitor / Application Insights
• Experience with Azure B2C, ARM, Bicep, or Terraform
• Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications
• Engagement as a contractor or resource pool, based on client requirements
• Primarily remote position; willing to coordinate for on-site or intervention requests as necessary
