Cloud Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design scalable, multi-domain solutions along with comprehensive enterprise architecture patterns.

• Define and execute developer workflows, onboarding procedures, and optimal paths to enhance Developer Experience (DevEx).

• Architect and develop reusable assets, such as templates, starter kits, and scaffolds, to standardize delivery and eliminate one-off implementations.

• Design and automate robust CI/CD pipelines, release workflows, and infrastructure-as-code provisioning.

• Implement secure and scalable DevSecOps practices throughout the development lifecycle.

• Establish and enforce architecture standards, guardrails, and reference patterns while performing architecture reviews.

• Manage and optimize developer tooling, including strategies for GitHub and Azure DevOps repositories.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Security teams to translate architecture into actionable guidance.

• Develop comprehensive onboarding materials, developer guides, and knowledge repositories.

• Create continuous feedback loops to enhance automation, patterns, and platform adoption.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong background in enterprise-scale software engineering and system design.

• Hands-on expertise in CI/CD design, automation, and release workflows.

• Significant experience with Microsoft Azure, covering compute, networking, identity, and data integration at scale.

• Proven track record of creating reusable architectural patterns and accelerators.

• Practical experience with developer tooling, including GitHub and Azure DevOps, as well as repository management.

• In-depth understanding of secure and scalable DevSecOps practices and environment provisioning.

• Excellent communication skills to align cross-functional teams and convey technical standards.

• Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a strong focus on agile delivery.

• Profound understanding of the distinction between coding and engineering.

• Advanced proficiency in oral English.

• Advanced proficiency in Spanish.

• Experience in platform engineering and familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS architectures (desired).

• Background in integrating AI/GenAI development patterns (desired).

• Knowledge of observability integration and advanced deployment pipelines (desired).

• Ability to define and implement developer workflows and golden paths (DevEx).

• Experience in defining and enforcing architecture standards and conducting architecture reviews.
