Cloud Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create innovative, scalable, and highly available security-focused multi-cloud international hosting solutions.

• Formulate thorough platform modernization and migration strategies for existing IaaS/PaaS/Container Services environments.

• Collaborate with Architecture teams to execute proof of concept (POC) and implement designs in cloud-based settings.

• Enhance system performance, resolve system issues, and analyze complex technical problems.

• Develop solutions using automation tools like Bicep and Ansible.

• Document existing systems and draft, as well as uphold, policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.

• Create testing protocols and plans for evaluating new application versions within our cloud-hosted environments.

• Diagnose application/database performance challenges related to connectivity, access, and security.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in architecture, design, configuration, and deployment within the Microsoft Azure platform.

• Proven experience in creating and presenting architectural concepts and designs.

• Familiarity with automation tools such as ARM Templates, Terraform, Ansible, or DSC is a plus.

• Experience with Kubernetes and related components, including Istio, ArgoCD, and operationalizing workflows.

• Strong preference for experience with OpenSearch, Kafka, and MongoDB.

• Experience with security tools (e.g., SIEM, WAF, NGAV, etc.) is a plus.

• Extensive knowledge of networking and firewall design/configuration.

• Awareness of security best practices in infrastructure, applications, IAM, or data platform solutions.

• Strong troubleshooting skills to identify the root cause of problems and think critically about potential solutions.

• High level of expertise related to Azure SQL, SQL Server, and database technologies.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with leaders within our organization.

• Azure and other cloud certifications are a plus.
