Clinical Vendor Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Acts as the main liaison between clinical services and various departments to facilitate coordination of multi- and inter-disciplinary vendor projects.

• Engages in communication and project planning related to other company or departmental initiatives.

• Works alongside clinical department directors and other essential personnel in the comprehensive evaluation of projects.

• Determines key benchmarks for evaluation purposes.

• Initiates and oversees planning associated with project development, including the identification of project goals, anticipated outcomes, resource needs, and evaluation methods.

• Aids clinical department directors and others in interpreting and utilizing data for informed decision-making.

• Leverages clinical expertise and healthcare data to inform decisions.

• Delivers presentations to assist organizational leaders in grasping the clinical implications of data to enhance healthcare quality improvement.

• Enhances and innovates the application of technology within clinical practices and workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 years of progressive clinical experience and/or experience related to informatics.

• 2 years of experience in the health insurance industry or another related healthcare field.

• 3 years of experience in clinical and/or informatics roles.

• Proven excellent public speaking and written communication abilities.

• Experience in leading a project that resulted in successful change management.

• Familiarity with NCQA, JCAHO, and American Accreditation HealthCare Commission/URAC standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, education, or a health-related discipline, or 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

• RN licensure is preferred.
