This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and design training curricula for orthotic/prosthetic and therapy clinicians, incorporating the most recent advancements related to Myomo products.
• Generate educational materials, presentations, and resources to assist in training programs for Myomo staff and collaborating clinicians.
• Facilitate hands-on training sessions, workshops, and either in-person or virtual lectures for orthotic/prosthetic practitioners and therapists.
• Offer guidance on clinical techniques, patient evaluations, and the application of Myomo orthotic products.
• Provide ongoing field training and observational support.
• Exhibit knowledge and serve as a clinical authority on the Myomo product line.
• Evaluate the clinical proficiency of orthotic/prosthetic practitioners and therapists through practical assessments and written evaluations.
• Deliver constructive feedback to promote continuous enhancement in clinical capabilities.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies, treatments, and trends in orthotics and myoelectric prosthetics.
• Incorporate technological advancements into training programs to ensure practitioners are adept with the latest tools and devices.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members, healthcare institutions, academic partners, and industry collaborators to improve training opportunities.
• Cultivate partnerships to provide access to innovative resources and expertise.
• Provide clinical insights alongside clinicians, engineering, product development, and quality teams to enhance Myomo products.
• Establish and maintain credible business relationships with Myomo clients, therapists, patients, and physicians, sharing product knowledge as needed.
• Keep precise records of training sessions, assessments, and participant feedback in a timely manner.
• Create reports on the effectiveness of training programs and propose recommendations for enhancement.
• Implement, practice, and monitor quality assurance measures to uphold the highest standards of care for Myomo's products.
• Identify, report, and advise on customer needs, product performance, and potential sales opportunities to influence product enhancement, account servicing, and sales growth.
• Licensed Occupational or Physical Therapist.
• Minimum of 5 years of rehabilitation experience, encompassing inpatient, outpatient, or home health settings.
• Experience in managing neurological patients is required.
• Preferred experience with myoelectric upper extremity prosthetics and/or upper extremity orthotics, or a neurological certification.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to cultivate effective, enduring relationships with O & P partners, therapists, and clients.
• Must be organized and self-motivated, demonstrating integrity, initiative, and exceptional verbal/written communication skills, including public speaking and presentation proficiency.
• Conduct must be polished, professional, and tactful in all internal and external interactions.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with ease in adapting to an evolving environment.
• Commitment to teamwork and a strong dedication to clinical excellence.
• Ability to quickly become proficient with technology.
• Advanced skills in relevant computer applications, such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel at least 50% within assigned territories (in the US), typically averaging 1-3 overnight stays per week.
• Preference for candidates in CST, MST, or PST time zones.
