Clinical Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assisting with the daily operations of the clinic.

• Collaborating with the Bookings team to convey and arrange specific client needs in advance of assessments.

• Resolving logistical challenges related to the operation of busy clinics, such as clinician absences.

• Providing support to clients and families during the appeals process while managing complaints in conjunction with the Team Manager.

• Offering clinical assistance during the onboarding of new clinical staff and facilitating the team's ongoing skills enhancement.

• Partnering with the Team Manager to identify and address deficiencies in clinical processes.

• Overseeing resource requirements and contributing to the creation of new resources to support and improve clinic operations.

• Raising issues and collaborating with the Team Manager to achieve resolutions.

• Providing support in multidisciplinary teams for complex cases.

• Recognizing training needs within the team.

• Delivering line management to a small group of clinicians, Assistant Psychologists, and Clinical Support Workers.

• Performing Quality Assurance checks on clinical diagnostic reports to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to professional standards.

• Conducting high-quality diagnostic assessments while fulfilling team leadership and support roles.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional registration with one of the following regulatory bodies: HCPC, NMC, GMC, or Social Work England.

• At least 2 years of experience in conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in children and young people.

• Proven experience in providing clinical supervision.

• Experience in supporting service delivery and managing workflow.

• Strong grasp of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations.

• Comprehensive knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for autism and ADHD.

• Trained and experienced in using diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, etc.

• Effective time management and organizational skills to assist the wider team while managing personal caseload responsibilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively within teams across the organization.

• Well-developed communication skills to engage with various stakeholders.

• Must be eligible to work in the UK.
