This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and implement extensive recruitment strategies for mental health professionals, including therapists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and psychiatrists.
• Leverage various sourcing channels, such as professional networks, licensing boards, specialty associations, job boards, social media, and referral programs.
• Establish and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates across all licensure levels.
• Perform initial screenings to evaluate clinical qualifications, licensing status, and cultural compatibility.
• Collaborate closely with clinical leadership and the COO to comprehend specific role requirements by state and licensure level.
• Provide consistent updates on recruitment metrics, market insights, and hiring advancements.
• Oversee the candidate experience from the initial contact through to onboarding.
• Coordinate the interview processes with clinical and leadership teams.
• Keep updated on mental health licensing requirements across pertinent states.
• Track industry trends, salary benchmarks, and the competitive landscape.
• Foster relationships with educational institutions, residency programs, and professional organizations.
• Create and maintain targeted recruitment marketing materials for mental health professionals.
• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from drafting job descriptions and posting openings to offer acceptance.
• Ensure adherence to healthcare recruiting regulations and best practices.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System and generate detailed recruitment reports.
• Conduct background checks, reference verifications, and credentialing processes.
• A minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in healthcare or high-volume clinical environments.
• Direct experience in recruiting mental or behavioral health providers (therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists) is highly preferred.
• A demonstrated interest in mental health, community health, or mission-driven work.
• Working knowledge of mental health licensure pathways, supervision requirements, and credentialing processes.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (such as Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever, etc.) and modern sourcing tools (like LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills – capable of crafting a concise outreach email, conducting a confident screening call, and providing a clear pipeline update.
• Excellent judgment regarding clinical and cultural fit – able to discern between a candidate who interviews well and one who will genuinely serve our patients effectively.
