Clinical Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collaborate effectively with clients to strategize, install, implement, and sustain hardware and software solutions.

• Design, manage, and oversee projects and tasks tailored for our clients.

• Configure, develop, document, test, modify, and maintain software applications.

• Proactively address issues and determine the optimal solutions to fulfill the requirements of our clients and their customers.

• Work closely with end-users to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application-related problems by identifying malfunctions in hardware and software.

• Collaborate informally with the client’s technical team to ensure process continuity.

• Conduct system enhancements, develop new features, implement upgrades and quarterly updates, and optimize systems.

• Analyze business requirements and convert them into system specifications, making necessary adjustments to system logic.

• Perform system customizations, including developing alerts/hard stops, data integration, order generation, automation of document entry, and enforcing adherence to workflows.

• Maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information in compliance with UK GDPR, NHS Information Governance standards, and relevant data protection laws, while adhering to HIPAA and Canadian privacy and security regulations for all activities and information accessed.

• Participate in the creation of tools and training aimed at enhancing end-user competencies.

• Ensure clinical upgrades, patches, and enhancements are meticulously planned and tested before implementation in the production environment.

• Generate concise ad-hoc reports.

• Prioritize projects based on client needs, ensuring timely completion in alignment with established deadlines.

• Collaborate actively with the Chief Services Officer and clients to evaluate and adjust project priorities as necessary.

• Perform and/or oversee the ongoing maintenance of Information Systems and their interfaces, alongside supporting our clients’ activities.

• Offer technical support to our clients.

• Provide information and training on Information Systems to our clients.

• Engage in problem-solving for clients.

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and their staff.

• Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned by the CEO or the Chief Services Officer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), including platforms such as WinPath, Cirdan, Magentus, InterSystems TrakCare Lab Enterprise, Epic Beaker, or similar systems.

• At least 5 years of experience supporting Order Communications systems, including ICE, Labgnostics (formerly nPEx), or other healthcare order communications solutions.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Clinical Processes.

• At least 2 years of experience with EPR, including build, implementation, support, and hands-on end-user experience.

• Knowledge of clinical standards, documentation methodologies, and existing practices.

• Proven technical skills and proficiency in all computer-related activities.

• Demonstrated ability to understand all laboratory-related computer applications, with the capacity to learn and apply new applications and programs.
