This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a reliable clinical contact for each member throughout their wellness journey.
• Evaluate immediate risks and clinical requirements utilizing evidence-based models and clinical expertise.
• Provide immediate crisis de-escalation, safety planning, and risk management support.
• Identify biopsychosocial needs and collaborate with members to determine solutions and next steps.
• Create SMART goals and assist members as they navigate through different stages of change.
• Direct members to suitable clinical care, treatment programs, and community resources.
• Inform members about benefit plans, coverage options, and care navigation processes.
• Utilize specialized evidence-based curriculum across various clinical domains.
• Research and offer customized educational or support resources.
• Collaborate with internal colleagues for follow-up, case cooperation, and smooth care transitions.
• Manage real-time queue tasks alongside out-of-queue case management duties.
• Uphold diplomacy, empathy, professionalism, HIPAA compliance, confidentiality, and thorough clinical documentation.
• Oversee multiple health records and systems to document member interactions and progress.
• Communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
• Master’s degree or PhD in a mental health discipline, or RN with psychiatric specialization.
• Active independent clinical license, such as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LPCC, PhD, PsyD, PMHNP, or psychiatric RN.
• A minimum of 5 years of post-licensure experience in behavioral health or substance use is preferred.
• Proven application of evidence-based methods, including brief therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing.
• Experience in managed care settings is preferred.
• Experience with direct communication with members; telephonic counseling or coaching experience is preferred.
• Must obtain AAS Crisis Specialist Certification within the first year of employment.
• EAP experience and CEAP certification are preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong clinical judgment and exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated administrative capabilities and proficiency in computer/software applications.
• Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, including rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Access to home internet through cable broadband or fiber optic service with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
