This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee and manage all clinical services for the program in line with facility standards and the clinical philosophy of the program.
• Support counselors in formulating treatment plans and maintaining documentation.
• Lead treatment team meetings and engage in case consultations.
• Provide individual and group supervision to counselors and other assigned staff.
• Maintain a caseload as necessary.
• Collaborate with facility leadership to create new programs for the organization.
• Attend to clients regarding all aspects of their treatment.
• Ensure a safe, organized, and therapeutic environment for clients, which includes crisis intervention.
• Confirm that clinical programming is delivered daily as scheduled.
• Complete all mandated training as specified by the company and relevant accreditation/licensing entities.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• ASAM aligned substance programs must fulfill one of the following criteria:
• A Master’s Degree from an accredited institution majoring in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling with a Master’s level licensure: Marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling, or certification by a state-wide certification board (CAADC) along with 2 years of clinical experience in a health and human services agency, including 1 year of direct work with chemically dependent individuals.
• A Master’s Degree from an accredited college in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, and actively pursuing a Master’s level licensure (Marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling) or certification by a state-wide certification body (CAADC), with 2 years of clinical experience in a health and human services agency, including 1 year of direct work with chemically dependent individuals.
• A Bachelor’s degree with a CADC or currently working towards a CADC, with a minimum of one year of qualifying clinical experience, and 3 years of clinical experience in a health and human services agency, including 1 year of direct work with chemically dependent individuals.
• An Associate Degree with a CAAC and 4 years of clinical experience in a health and human services agency, including 1 year of direct work with chemically dependent individuals.
• Full certification as an addictions counselor by a state-wide certification body and 3 years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency, including 1 year of direct work with chemically dependent individuals. Additionally, the individual must complete a Department approved core curriculum training prior to hire that includes a component on clinical supervision skills.
