This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Deliver engineering, sales, educational, and technical assistance for electrophysiology products.
• Address inquiries from physicians, healthcare professionals, patients, and field sales personnel.
• Serve as a clinical liaison between the medical community and Abbott’s EP division.
• Establish and maintain trustworthy customer relationships while sharing product knowledge.
• Provide regional coverage for EP procedural cases.
• Design, lead, and facilitate EP product training sessions and programs for healthcare professionals.
• Offer management insights with market feedback and suggestions for next-generation products.
• Assist EP Sales Representatives with sales support, training sessions, clinical studies, data collection, troubleshooting, and new product training.
• Enhance engineering, sales, and technical skills pertinent to the Arrhythmia Management strategy.
• Collaborate with Training and Education to develop advanced seminars and educational materials.
• Aid Sales with advanced product demonstrations.
• Remain updated on technical fields, regulatory standards, company and competitor offerings, market objectives, and industry trends.
• Identify and resolve issues while determining root causes to prevent future occurrences.
• Monitor performance metrics and communicate status updates to the manager.
• Bachelor’s degree in Bio-Medical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent healthcare experience is required.
• Capability to obtain certification on EP products.
• At least 6 months of experience in a Clinical Specialist role.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, either internally or externally, with a competing organization.
• Achieves or surpasses expectations in the most recent performance evaluation.
• Average of 15+ cases per month for 6–12 consecutive months as the primary mapper.
• Served as the primary mapper on complex cases for over 6 months, including at least 3 complex cases in the last 6 months.
• Ability to enhance the use of Abbott Advanced Mapping and Ablation Tools.
• Complete monthly sales activities at assigned accounts.
• Verification of compliance with vendor credentialing requirements, which may include COVID-19 vaccination.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
