This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Deliver engineering, sales, educational, and technical assistance for EP products.
• Act as a clinical liaison between the medical community and Abbott’s business operations.
• Establish and maintain trustworthy business relationships with clients.
• Provide coverage for regional EP procedural cases.
• Design, lead, and conduct training sessions and programs on EP products.
• Offer insights and feedback to management regarding market trends and next-generation products.
• Support EP Sales Representatives with sales assistance, training workshops, clinical studies/data collection, troubleshooting, and new product training.
• Assist the Training and Education team with advanced educational seminars and resources.
• Aid Sales with sophisticated product demonstrations.
• Keep track of advancements in the field, regulatory requirements, and competitor products, markets, goals, and industry trends.
• Address or facilitate the resolution of issues and identify root causes to prevent future occurrences.
• Monitor performance metrics and report status updates to the manager.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Bio-Medical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent healthcare experience is required.
• Ability to obtain certification on EP products.
• At least 6 months of experience in a Clinical Specialist role.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, either internally or externally with a competitor in the industry.
• Consistently meets or surpasses expectations in the most recent performance review.
• An average of 15+ cases per month for a duration of 6–12 consecutive months as the primary mapper.
• Served as the primary mapper on complex cases for more than 6 months, including at least 3 complex cases in the past 6 months.
• Proven ability to enhance the usage of Abbott Advanced Mapping and Ablation Tools.
• Completion of monthly sales activities at designated accounts.
• Verification of compliance with vendor credentialing requirements, which may include COVID-19 vaccination.
• Willingness and capability to travel 50% of the time.
