Clinical Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Provide product training and clinical education to surgeons, staff, and new users.

• Assist in live procedures to ensure optimal OR workflow, setup, and troubleshooting across designated accounts.

• Offer in-service and field support, including installations and software updates.

• Implement procedural scheduling and efficiency improvements to enhance case coverage.

• Collaborate with Sales to identify opportunities for utilization growth and account retention.

• Work alongside team members to promote program efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Assist in marketing and training events, encompassing physical setup and presentations.

• Collect and communicate customer insights to Marketing and R&D for product and program improvements.

• Ensure accurate maintenance of case logs, expenses, and administrative documentation in Salesforce.

• Upload case logs to the central repository as necessary.

• Monitor and document surgeon progress through onboarding and competency milestones.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

• Preferred 2–4 years of clinical experience.

• Strong interest in medical devices and robotics is essential.

• Must attain clinical proficiency and independently manage a case within 60 days of completing Aqua Academy internal sales training; 30 days of additional coaching may be available.

• Willingness to travel 75% or more as needed.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills are necessary.

• A collaborative and customer-focused mindset is essential.

• Ability to influence surgeon adoption and foster procedural growth.

• Must be hands-on, adaptable, and capable of executing tasks in the field tactically.

• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities are required.
