Clinical Solutions Architect

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the clinical design for your deployment from start to finish. This includes workflow discovery, configuration, testing, and go-live. You will establish what "clinically correct" means for the engagement and ensure adherence to those standards.

• Transform clinical realities into actionable plans. This is a fundamental aspect of the role. You will untangle medical policies, guideline sets, nurse workflows, and escalation rules into precise requirements and acceptance criteria that can be directly communicated to engineering.

• Document workflows that are not formally recorded. Health plans often lack a clear understanding of their own review processes. You will collaborate with their nursing staff to create a process diagram that accurately reflects actual practices and illustrate how Florence integrates into the system.

• Dive deep into the specifics. You will explore utilization management, prior authorization, guideline sets, business lines, delegated entities, and upcoming regulations. Spending substantial time onsite with our customers will help you develop expertise that cannot be gained from presentations.

• Rapidly deliver proofs of concept. You will possess a thorough understanding of Florence, enabling you to configure and showcase genuine clinical value during initial engagements rather than deferring it to later phases.

• Serve as a trusted advisor. The most effective Clinical Solutions Architects do not merely fulfill customer requests; they assist clinical leaders in recognizing their actual needs and provide guidance on the optimal path to achieve those goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• You are a clinician, holding qualifications such as RN, BSN, NP, PA, or MD. Your familiarity with clinical terminology, patient-provider interactions, and the experience of being on the receiving end of coverage decisions is essential.

• You have experience working within a health plan or delegated entity, which is a critical factor for this role. You understand how intake, eligibility, network checks, and medical reviews function, as well as the differences among various lines of business. While utilization management is key, adjacent knowledge in areas such as risk adjustment, HEDIS, care management, and appeals is also valuable.

• You possess a structured approach. Creating intuitive workflow maps, establishing clean processes, and communicating clearly in writing come naturally to you. You have likely developed training materials or standard operating procedures that teams have utilized.

• You genuinely enjoy interacting with customers. Building relationships with clinical counterparts is something you thrive on, and you foster connections that endure beyond the project timeline.

• You have a genuine interest in AI. You actively seek to understand how these systems function rather than waiting for guidance, and you hold opinions on where they should and shouldn’t be relied upon in clinical decision-making.
