
Clinical Social Worker – Health Care Facility Surveyor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.
• Engage in a technically stimulating environment, providing support to both internal and external customers across the nation.
• Deliver consultation and survey services within long-term care environments.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and requirements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance quality improvement initiatives.
• A Master's degree in Social Work is required.
• Completion of CMS’s Long-Term Care Basic Training and passing the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT) is mandatory.
• A minimum of two (2) years of recent experience as a surveyor in accrediting or certifying facilities that cater to residents of long-term care facilities is essential.
• Current licensure to practice as an LCSW must be maintained.
• Proven ability to make independent decisions to effectively manage the survey process.
• Capability to prioritize tasks both independently and collaboratively during survey activities.
• Competence in discussing conflicts or controversies openly, seeking assistance as necessary to make decisions and resolve issues.
• U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for this role.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time regularly is necessary.
• The salary for this role ranges from $72,000 to $80,000 per year.
• This position is full-time, operating Monday through Friday.
