• Ensure outstanding customer satisfaction by serving as the main clinical and technical resource.
• Collaborate with IMR teams, Sales Leadership, Customer Service, Product Management, R&D, Finance, Marketing, and Manufacturing to meet customer needs and achieve successful outcomes.
• Conduct technical product training and provide IMRs and Leica sales teams with the necessary tools, knowledge, and confidence to effectively present our solutions.
• Lead and assist with product demonstrations and evaluations to highlight clinical value and distinguish Leica systems.
• Promote awareness, adoption, and successful sales of Leica Medical products by delivering high-quality demos, evaluations, and clinical support.
• Contribute to territory strategies that enhance win rates, shorten the sales cycle, and increase market share.
• Collect strategic customer feedback to inspire new product ideas and offer recommendations for Product Management.
• Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Product Management, and R&D to perform field evaluations, validate product performance, and support local and national product launch initiatives.
• Work alongside customers and clinical experts to produce field data, case studies, and real-world evidence that demonstrate product advantages and reinforce Leica’s competitive edge.
• High school diploma or GED with over 10 years of experience in Medical sales (in a hospital setting) OR an Associate’s Degree with 5+ years OR a Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Familiarity with microsurgical workflows and experience in supporting procedures in specialties such as Neurosurgery, ENT, Plastics, Spine, or Ophthalmology.
• Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: up to 70% travel within the region, including overnight stays.
• Ability to work comfortably in operating rooms and clinical settings.
• Capability to lift over 50 pounds at once.
• Comfortable standing for prolonged periods.
• Previous experience in microscopy or advanced imaging is preferred; familiarity with surgical visualization systems is a plus.
