• Execute the clinical sales strategy established by the da Vinci Clinical Sales Manager to enhance the utilization of the da Vinci® Surgical System.
• Attain expertise in da Vinci® Surgery, concentrating on primary indications within the region to facilitate the growth of surgical robotics programs in the designated territory.
• Assist in regional sales and marketing initiatives that promote system awareness and foster procedure adoption.
• Create a tailored da Vinci® Surgery plan for each surgical team to ensure they can operate the system independently within a suitable timeframe based on their volume and access to the system.
• Enhance the utilization of the da Vinci® system by collaborating with surgical teams to evaluate and select appropriate cases, ensuring consistent system usage.
• Broaden the user base by partnering with key hospital personnel and surgeon thought leaders to cultivate a qualified lead funnel; interactions with C-level executives, senior hospital staff, and KOLs will be supported by the Clinical Sales Manager.
• Guide surgical teams through training sessions, assisting them in understanding system operations, OR integration, and applications of da Vinci® Surgery.
• Act as a resource for the surgical team by offering guidance and case support regarding the use of the da Vinci® Surgical System.
• Responsibly manage administrative responsibilities, including reporting sales/procedures, outcomes of sales activities, and submitting expense reports.
• Serve as a Medical Device Consultant (Medizinprodukteberater) in Austria and Germany, following appropriate training and legal regulations, providing guidance, insights, and support for the proper handling of Intuitive medical devices.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• At least two years of experience in support and training within the medical device industry or a minimum of two years of previous sales experience in healthcare.
• Demonstrated success in sales support or sales roles.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English and German is required.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, depending on account distribution.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team.
• Familiarity with the operating room environment is preferred.
