Clinical Research Specialist – Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide direct daily leadership for the CRS team designated to a specific region

• Establish clear expectations for performance, workflows, and professional conduct

• Oversee workload allocation and staffing coverage across the designated sites

• Address routine performance challenges and escalate them as needed to the Associate Director

• Cultivate a positive, accountable, and highly engaged team culture

• Collaborate with the Senior Manager to address hiring requirements

• Take ownership of swift and effective onboarding for new team members

• Conduct regular check-ins and coaching sessions with direct reports

• Facilitate ongoing skill development and readiness for roles

• Ensure compliance with documentation and process workflows that align with the company’s priorities

• Act as the primary operational liaison between site-level and account-level stakeholders

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in healthcare operations, oncology clinical research, or health system-based programs

• More than 4 years of experience in people management or team leadership

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

• Proven experience in onboarding, training, and performance management

• Strong understanding of compliance and quality standards in research environments

• Extensive knowledge and comfort with ambulatory oncology workflows

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
