This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.
• Act as the main point of contact for Operating Unit/regional leaders and MCRS stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders and foster internal collaboration.
• Discover opportunities for generating clinical evidence and expanding business.
• Facilitate strategic conversations and articulate service capabilities and offerings.
• Generate leads through networking initiatives and outreach activities.
• Oversee service offerings, monitor progress, and assess customer requirements.
• Manage the proposal and negotiation processes, including potential outsourcing arrangements.
• Create and implement strategic plans leveraging data analysis, benchmarking, and market intelligence.
• Supervise portfolio-level deliverables, including timelines, budgets, performance, quality, and financial health.
• Conduct performance reviews of service delivery and promote continuous improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with Quality and Compliance teams to manage portfolio-level risks and issues.
• Lead comprehensive issue resolution and ensure the escalation and resolution of quality, safety, timeline, and budget concerns.
• Provide leadership in clinical studies and regulatory affairs to support product approvals.
• Formulate and execute regulatory strategies for timely global product approvals.
• Ensure that regulatory submissions are precise and compliant.
• Represent Medtronic in clinical research discussions within the country/region and gather feedback from clients and authorities.
• Oversee local and global studies and manage clinical research projects across various Medtronic therapies and businesses.
• A Bachelor's degree.
• Over 5 years of relevant clinical experience (3+ years with an advanced degree).
• Familiarity with clinical research, clinical operations, strategic account management, business development, or portfolio management in healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, CRO, or similar life sciences organizations.
• Proven ability to build and influence relationships within complex global matrix organizations and lead strategic customer or business partner engagements.
• Comprehensive knowledge of clinical trials, evidence generation, regulatory requirements, quality systems, and compliance processes.
• Experience in managing business performance, including budgets, forecasting, proposals, contracts, vendor supervision, and portfolio-level planning.
• An advanced degree (MBA, Master's) or relevant certification (PMP), along with experience in developing business cases, growth strategies, or market assessments.
• For degrees obtained outside of the United States, a degree that meets the criteria of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
