Clinical Research Associate II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee and take ownership of the advancement of clinical studies at investigative sites.

• Ensure that clinical studies are executed, documented, and reported in accordance with the protocol, SOPs, ICH-GCP, applicable regulations, and standards.

• Organize activities necessary for the setup and monitoring of studies.

• Identify suitable investigators.

• Assist in the preparation of regulatory submissions.

• Conduct pre-study and initiation visits.

• Travel to investigative sites for morning visits.

• Recognize potential study risks and suggest mitigation strategies.

• Prepare for investigator meetings, site visits, and project team updates.

• Manage conflicts utilizing resolution strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in life sciences and/or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 2 years as a CRA in a CRO or the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, or equivalent relevant experience and/or demonstrated competencies.

• Experience in site management or comparable experience in clinical research.

• Background in managing oncology studies.

• Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Client-focused mindset.

• Willingness to travel domestically, including overnight stays, with an expected travel commitment of approximately 50–60%.

• Proficiency in English and Dutch.

• Candidates must possess legal authorization to work in the country of employment without requiring employer sponsorship.

• Proficiency in French is advantageous.

• Experience with study start-up activities is preferred.
