This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico, +3 more states.
β’ Gathers, organizes, and maintains demographic, clinical, and follow-up information on all cancer cases diagnosed and/or treated at Providence facilities within the Portland Service Area.
β’ Retrieves data from various sources including EPIC, Mosaic, and other department-specific databases.
β’ Prepares information for state submissions, NCDB submissions, as well as for local analysis and distribution.
β’ Conducts all cancer registry tasks in accordance with the standards established by the American College of Surgeons.
β’ Associate's Degree or equivalent education/experience.
β’ If not holding an Associate's degree: an additional 2 years of experience in cancer registry.
β’ Certification required upon hire: Oncology Data Specialist - National Cancer Registrars Association.
β’ Minimum of 2 years of experience in cancer registry.
