This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop new processes, workflows, and documentation for InStride’s Clinical Quality Management Program.
• Oversee patient safety operations, including intake, review, tracking, trend analysis, committee support, monitoring corrective actions, and promoting continuous improvement.
• Assist with complaints, grievances, and patient feedback processes.
• Create quality governance documents, work plans, program evaluations, committee charters, dashboards, and executive reports.
• Collaborate with Clinical Services on provider quality oversight, documentation reviews, monitoring tools, performance indicators, and clinical trend reporting.
• Aid in the implementation and assessment of new clinical programs and treatment models.
• Support external audits, health plan quality standards, regulatory initiatives, and prepare for future accreditation.
• Work alongside Compliance on clinical policies, procedures, standards, and quality documentation.
• Evaluate patient safety events, complaints, satisfaction data, documentation findings, and other quality metrics.
• Lead cross-functional quality and patient safety projects from initial concept to execution.
• Prepare presentations, executive summaries, dashboards, and reports for leadership.
• Enhance quality workflows through technology, automation, artificial intelligence, and scalable processes.
• Foster collaborative relationships across Clinical Services, Clinical Operations, Compliance, Product, Business Insights, and other departments.
• Act as a resource for clinical quality, patient safety, quality improvement methodologies, and regulatory best practices.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Clinical Quality, Patient Safety, Healthcare Quality Management, Accreditation, Clinical Operations, or a similar healthcare setting.
• Experience in supporting quality management, patient safety, clinical oversight, quality improvement, or regulatory compliance efforts.
• Proven experience leading intricate, cross-functional projects from planning to execution.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to handle multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including experience in creating executive-level reports and presentations.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the capacity to convert data into actionable insights.
• Proven ability to cultivate relationships and influence stakeholders across various departments without direct authority.
• High degree of initiative, accountability, and follow-through.
• Proficient in Google Workspace.
• A Master’s degree in a behavioral health or healthcare-related discipline is highly desirable.
• Clinical licensure or previous clinical practice experience is preferred.
• Experience in developing or enhancing quality management or patient safety programs is advantageous.
• Experience in supporting behavioral health organizations is preferred.
• Familiarity with conducting clinical documentation reviews or quality audits is preferred.
• Experience with health plan audits, accreditation standards, or regulatory readiness is preferred.
• Experience in developing dashboards or quality reports is preferred.
• Experience utilizing AI, automation, or technological solutions to enhance quality processes and operational efficiency is preferred.
