• Provide robust and independent leadership for designated clinical projects, ensuring effective execution.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Supervise study management activities, encompassing site selection, initiation, monitoring, and closeout.
• Create and sustain study timelines, budgets, and project plans, ensuring compliance with scope.
• Identify risks and proactively resolve challenges to maintain project alignment.
• Ensure adherence to ICH-GCP, regulatory standards, and company SOPs.
• Manage vendor partnerships and study-related contracts.
• Offer mentorship and support to junior project team members.
• Assist in proposal development, bid defense meetings, and initiatives for business growth.
• Engage in internal and external project team meetings to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a science or related field.
• Prior experience working on clinical projects within an academic, CRO, or pharmaceutical company setting.
• Experience in Renal is essential.
• Relevant work experience for this position is approximately seven (7) years within the industry.
• A minimum of two (2) years of Project Management experience in the CRO industry is required.
• Previous experience as a CRA, in site management, trial coordination, or similar relevant industry roles is preferred.
• Experience managing single or multiple regions, working across various therapeutic areas, handling full-service studies, and involvement in both early and late phases of clinical trials is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of and capability to implement project activities in compliance with ICH/GCP and all applicable regulations and guidelines in the relevant regions.
• Previous experience in client-facing roles and/or client management.
• Experience in project finance management, preferably within a CRO context.
