This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Evaluate claims data and automated clinical opportunities to provide evidence-based recommendations.
• Support members in downloading and utilizing the Walrus app.
• Engage with members through digital clinical interactions.
• Direct members to employer-sponsored programs when suitable.
• Offer therapy recommendations to healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with fellow Walrus team members on related projects.
• Assist in the creation of internal clinical products and member-facing tools.
• Participate in calls with clients and prospects as necessary.
• Provide clinical coverage outside standard working hours when required.
• Must possess a PharmD or an equivalent advanced degree and be a licensed and registered pharmacist in good standing within a US state. Employment must also be within a US state.
• Completed residency training (PGY-1 or PGY-2).
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with patients and clinicians.
• Ability to analyze data effectively and exercise sound judgment.
• Strong verbal, listening, and written communication abilities.
• Proficient in computer use, including database management and reporting tools.
• Comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical therapy and direct patient care.
• Solid knowledge of drug administration and disease state management.
• This position is remote, but willingness to travel as needed is required.
• Must understand how an ongoing digital relationship with a member can enhance the effectiveness of their drug therapies.
• Multi-state licensure is required.
• Experience in the digital health sector.
• Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Specialty Certification (BCACP) is preferred.
