This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Deliver comprehensive support to both patients and healthcare providers
• Cultivate individualized relationships with patients and prescribing professionals
• Analyze and interpret clinician's patient care documentation to extract relevant clinical data
• Create disease- and drug-specific clinical protocols
• Track ongoing patient adherence across all locations
• Review electronic medical records (EMR) to assess interactions, medication choices, laboratory results, allergies, and communications
• Suggest alternative therapeutic drug regimens
• Monitor treatment plans for adverse effects and recommend necessary adjustments
• Oversee and document medication therapy management processes
• Supervise the daily operations of pharmacy technicians
• Identify and address insurance-related concerns
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Provide training for pharmacy staff, students, interns, and healthcare professionals
• Support research initiatives and conduct peer reviews of scholarly articles
• Required Licensure/Certification: Candidates must possess a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or an equivalent advanced degree and be a licensed Pharmacist
• A minimum of 1 year of experience is highly preferred, though not mandatory
• Familiarity with EPIC/QS1/WILLOW software is advantageous
