Clinical Pharmacist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive support to both patients and healthcare providers.

• Cultivate tailored relationships with patients and prescribing professionals.

• Analyze and interpret clinicians' patient care documentation for relevant clinical information.

• Create clinical protocols specific to diseases and medications.

• Track ongoing patient adherence across various locations.

• Assess Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to evaluate interactions, medication choices, laboratory results, allergies, and communication.

• Suggest alternative therapeutic medication plans.

• Supervise therapies for adverse effects and propose adjustments.

• Administer and record medication therapy management.

• Oversee the daily operations of pharmacy technicians.

• Identify and address insurance-related challenges.

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Educate pharmacy personnel, students, interns, and other healthcare professionals.

• Contribute to research initiatives and the peer review process for articles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Required Licensure/Certification: Candidates must possess a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or an equivalent advanced degree and hold a valid Pharmacist license.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience is highly preferred, though not mandatory.

• Familiarity with EPIC/QS1/WILLOW software is advantageous.
