Clinical Pharmacist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Exhibit extensive understanding of contemporary pharmacotherapeutic principles, medical terminology, pathologies, disease state and population management, age-appropriate therapy, along with associated medical and pharmaceutical care management information.

• Operate from 8am to 5pm EST.

• Engage in a rotating weekend schedule (Saturday and Sunday, one weekend every four weeks).

• Participate in a rotating holiday schedule (one holiday per year).

• Work additional hours as necessary, depending on business requirements and schedule adjustments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Level Degree in Pharmacy is mandatory.

• A Pharmacist License in Virginia is required.

• Willingness to obtain a secondary license in Florida is essential.

• Must secure a Florida license within 90 days of starting with Sentara.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience is required, or a residency in managed care may substitute for experience.

• Experience with online pharmacy adjudication systems is necessary (e.g., PA Hub).

• Familiarity with current pharmacotherapeutic principles, medical terminology, pathologies, disease state and population management, age-appropriate therapy, and medical and/or pharmaceutical care management is essential.
