This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Manage the daily functions of the surgical services continuum and medical-surgical nursing departments.
• Supervise nursing personnel and support teams.
• Ensure adequate staffing by aiding in scheduling, task assignments, and workload allocation.
• Observe and assess patient care practices.
• Mentor, guide, and offer continuous education and training to operating room nursing staff.
• Engage in quality assurance and process enhancement initiatives.
• Assist with incident investigations and the implementation of corrective measures.
• A Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or a related discipline is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare or clinical coordination position, preferably within musculoskeletal care or surgical services.
• A licensed clinician (RN) is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with musculoskeletal clinical practices, workflows, or rehabilitation care is preferred.
• Understanding of governmental regulations and codes, including but not limited to The Joint Commission, DNV, State Agencies, ARRA, COLA, Pharmacy Board, and Nursing Board.
• Capacity to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of professional, administrative, technical, and clerical staff in both direct and indirect influential contexts.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Competent in utilizing computer applications such as spreadsheets, word processing, calendars, email, and database software to accomplish work tasks.
