Clinical Operations Manager – Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.

📋 Description

• Oversee project performance through engagement with project, functional, and client leadership.

• Ensure precise project documentation and correspondence is maintained.

• Provide study-specific status updates and engage in project team meetings.

• Offer consultation, facilitate metrics gathering, and create action plans to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.

• Generate resource allocation plans and track resource requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

• Act as a liaison with project teams, sponsors, and management regarding the performance of direct reports.

• Deliver technical support to both staff and management.

• Conduct quality assessments of deliverables and implement corrective actions as necessary.

• Recruit, retain, develop, train, and mentor team members effectively.

• Oversee performance evaluations, identify training needs, assign staff, and enhance team productivity.

• Participate in client presentations, project proposals, and account-related activities.

• Supervise team and departmental operations, resource allocation, task assignments, quality control, and project efficiency.

• Advocate for Parexel and departmental systems, standards, change management, and process enhancements.

• Maintain productivity and billability while completing administrative tasks such as timesheets, training, and expense claims.

• Travel as required.

• Ensure adherence to ICH Guidelines, Good Clinical Practices, regulatory requirements, Parexel SOPs, and sponsor SOPs where applicable.

• Foster teamwork, quality, productivity, and compliance with departmental SOPs.

• Exhibit leadership within the department, function, or location and embody corporate policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven ability to manage and inspire direct reports.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English as well as the local language.

• Significant monitoring/data management experience or equivalent clinical research background.

• Strong comprehension and knowledge of the clinical trials landscape.

• Relevant experience in a management role.

• Possess a degree; preferably in biological science, pharmacy, or another health-related field.

• An equivalent nursing qualification or relevant clinical experience may be considered.

• Maintain a working knowledge of and adherence to ICH Guidelines, Good Clinical Practices, regulatory agency requirements, Parexel SOPs, and applicable sponsor SOPs.
