Senior Manager, Clinical Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee clinical operations teams to guarantee effective planning, execution, and monitoring of clinical trials.

• Formulate and execute strategies to optimize clinical trial processes, improve operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with project timelines and budgets.

• Collaborate with clinical research, data management, regulatory affairs, and other cross-functional teams.

• Supervise site management activities, including site selection, initiation, monitoring, and closeout.

• Track trial performance metrics, identify areas needing improvement, and implement corrective measures.

• Act as the dedicated functional manager for the sponsor's program.

• Provide oversight through effective site visits, thorough monitoring report reviews, and proactive management of Sponsor KPIs.

• Promote quality, consistency, and successful study execution across the EMEA region.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Life Sciences, Clinical Research, or a related discipline.

• Extensive experience in clinical operations across various clinical trial phases and therapeutic areas.

• Demonstrated management experience.

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

• Comprehensive understanding of clinical trial regulations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and industry standards.

• Experience in optimizing trial processes and addressing operational challenges.

• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

• Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.

• Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located.
