This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +2 more countries.
• Collaborates closely with the FSP Lead to ensure the team delivers high-quality outcomes and meets client expectations.
• Oversees the performance and daily activities of a multifunctional team, enhancing service delivery and ensuring compliance with established KPIs; develops and implements mitigation and remediation strategies for any non-compliance as necessary.
• Actively communicates and manages customer concerns through designated escalation channels.
• Drives revenue by attracting, selecting, and retaining the appropriate talent.
• Participates in FSP360 account meetings, as well as regional management team meetings and Town Halls.
• Provides direct line management to FSP360 team members.
• Responsible for the proactive management of team members' performance via the Syneos Health process, including setting goals, conducting mid-year reviews, year-end evaluations, and implementing performance improvement plans when necessary.
• Ensures team members comply with training guidelines, maintain their training records, and that both individual and corporate training needs are identified and addressed.
• Provides administrative oversight, including HR processes, timecards, and expense reports.
• Reviews workload and utilization for all team members.
• Supports the professional growth of team members through coaching, offering opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills, and by delegating tasks appropriate to their skill levels.
• Proactively ensures that team members' engagement, retention, and turnover rates remain within acceptable limits.
• Recognizes team members while fostering a culture of accountability.
• A minimum of five years of progressive clinical research experience is preferred; experience in managing clinical research staff is essential.
• A Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, a nursing degree, or an equivalent level of related experience, along with extensive clinical research experience in a contract research organization, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology company, including some leadership experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is required.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to inform, influence, persuade, and convince others.
• Strong organizational, technical, and time management skills, with the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• A creative problem solver who is self-driven, adaptable, open to change, collaborative, and possesses a customer-focused mindset.
• Understanding of fundamental financial concepts related to forecasting and budgeting.
• Must exhibit proficient computer skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies.
