Clinical Operations Lead – Clinical Trial Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Accountable for overseeing the clinical operations of a project at a specified regional or global level.

• Provides guidance on project deliverables, supervises assigned Clinical Research Associates (CRAs), and manages Investigator sites.

• Serves as the main point of contact between the CRAs and the clinical project team.

• Additional duties include training CRAs specific to the project, conducting assessment visits alongside CRAs, executing enrollment and recruitment strategies, preparing the monitoring plan and related documentation, and overseeing scheduling of monitoring visits, site performance metrics, issue escalation, and corrective measures.

• Create study tools for use by sites and CRAs, review visit reports, and monitor protocol deviations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A college diploma or degree combined with 7-9 years of relevant experience and ongoing training and skill development.

• An undergraduate university degree (Bachelor's or Honors Bachelor's) along with 4-6 years of experience and significant ongoing job-related training.

• At least 3 years of experience as a CRA.

• Strong familiarity with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Exhibit proactive, detail-oriented, task-driven, and highly organized characteristics.

• Proven ability in report writing and a solid understanding of clinical research documents.
