Clinical Nutrition Dietitian – Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Conducts the Start of Care and follow-up education for home nutrition counseling patients through Video or Telephone.

• Exhibits expertise in diagnosis-specific nutrition therapy and counseling, serving as a subject matter expert for the sales, intake, and clinical teams.

• Executes assigned tasks in a timely, efficient, and competent manner, including the prompt completion of documentation and communication with both internal and external customers.

• Develops and delivers educational content to employees to ensure they are informed of the latest advancements in nutrition therapies.

• Creates and reviews materials intended for customer education.

• Engages in quality management meetings and initiatives aimed at enhancing quality management.

• Undertakes additional job responsibilities and special projects as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Registered Dietitian with a minimum of two years of experience.

• Experience in counseling patients regarding weight loss, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, PCOS, eating disorders, wound healing, and renal issues.

• Participation in CAQH; must maintain credentialing with designated commercial insurance plans and Medicaid/Medicare.

• Capable of working independently and making autonomous decisions within the framework of generally accepted medical practices, regulations, and guidelines.
