This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop new clinical content across various formats for point-of-care tools.
• Keep the library of existing clinical content updated and relevant.
• Proactively identify opportunities for potential product development.
• Collaborate with the Section Editor to make decisions that impact larger groups and junior team members.
• Act as a content expert within specific domains, facilitating topic enhancement and development, conducting systematic literature reviews, and regularly auditing the content collection.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and writer development through constructive editing and feedback.
• Ensure content quality and engage in quality improvement initiatives.
• Co-manage or co-lead editorial tasks and initiatives as necessary with the Section Editor or Editor-in-Chief.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in nursing.
• Current nursing licensure in good standing.
• Hands-on patient care experience in a critical care environment.
• Experience in an emergency setting is an advantage.
• Over 2 years of writing experience related to medical or scientific content.
• Proven understanding and application of evidence-based practice principles and health information technology to support clinical decision-making.
• Ability to extract pertinent clinical information from research and write clinical content succinctly, exercising judgment to produce content with minimal errors.
• Capacity to self-manage multiple priorities within deadlines and provide reports on work completed.
• Familiarity with PubMed and CINAHL search strategies.
• More than 2 years of experience with the MS Office Suite, including Word (with track changes) and Excel.
• Understanding of business processes and policies for problem-solving, with a self-motivated approach to seeking solutions.
