Clinical Documentation Improvement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead, coach, and nurture a team of CDI professionals while promoting engagement, accountability, and professional development.

• Oversee staffing, scheduling, productivity, quality, and utilization to fulfill client expectations and achieve business objectives.

• Act as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring successful project delivery, effective communication, and high levels of client satisfaction.

• Direct project implementation by managing the scope, timelines, financial performance, and quality of deliverables.

• Document and communicate any modifications to project scope, costs, and deadlines.

• Serve as the CDI subject matter expert, assessing project outcomes and balancing quality, client satisfaction, and profitability.

• Collaborate with Sales and Account Management to identify client needs, develop solution opportunities, enhance client relationships, and support business growth.

• Recruit, interview, onboard, mentor, and retain CDI talent effectively.

• Work alongside the CQR team to uphold quality standards and pinpoint development opportunities.

• Represent UASI as a CDI expert through participation in professional organizations, speaking engagements, networking, and other market-facing activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active CCDS credential.

• A minimum of 2 years of prior management experience.

• Subject matter expertise in CDI within a consulting environment.

• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and staff.

• Strong skills in culture-building, with the capacity to enhance employee engagement.

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• RN credential is preferred.
