This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Perform thorough nutritional and dietary evaluations by analyzing medical histories, laboratory results, and conducting patient interviews.
• Evaluate the nutritional status of patients and determine their specific dietary requirements.
• Create, implement, and oversee personalized nutrition care plans for patients.
• Assess patients' responses to nutritional interventions and modify plans as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, pharmacy, and interdisciplinary teams to provide coordinated medical nutrition therapy.
• Collaborate with departmental leadership to guarantee nutritionally suitable menus, food options, and services for patients and visitors.
• Offer education, training, and counseling to patients, staff, and community members on subjects such as eating disorders, weight management, and therapeutic diets.
• Contribute to organizational initiatives focused on nutrition, wellness, and patient outcomes.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related discipline is mandatory.
• 3-5 years of clinical nutrition experience in behavioral health or acute care environments is essential.
• An active Dietitian license in the state of residence is required.
• Must be able to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Capability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting is necessary.
