Clinical Diagnostic Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +9 more states.

📋 Description

• Administer and evaluate standardized autism diagnostic assessments, including the ADOS-2 (all Modules T-4)

• Conduct and score standardized cognitive assessments, which may include:

• WISC-V

• WPPSI-IV

• WAIS-IV, as applicable

• K-BIT

• DP-4

• Ensure the accurate standardized administration aligns with publisher and ethical standards

• Complete written documentation for the ADOS-2 and cognitive assessment components of diagnostic evaluation reports

• Conduct brief pre-assessment interviews with caregivers as necessary

• Timely upload of completed documentation in accordance with departmental standards

• Maintain compliance with HIPAA privacy and security regulations

• Collaborate with clinic leadership and supervising psychologists to enhance diagnostic clarity

• Travel to designated clinic locations as scheduled


⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in psychology, school psychology, clinical psychology, or a related field with a focus on assessment administration

• Formal coursework and training in autism spectrum disorder assessment

• Proven experience in administering and scoring the ADOS-2 and standardized cognitive assessments

• Understanding of developmental, intellectual, and learning disorders

• Experience working directly with children and families in diagnostic environments

• Ability to fulfill background check, drug screening, and travel obligations

• Proficiency in English required

• Spanish proficiency is advantageous

• Strong skills in clinical report writing

• Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills

• Capacity to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

• Clear and professional communication with families and clinical leadership

• Meticulous attention to detail and adherence to standardized testing protocols

• Commitment to ethical practice and continuous professional development


🏝️ Benefits

• Pay range: $35–$50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

• This position is classified as a 1099 independent contractor role

• Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, licensure, and professional liability insurance
