This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Deliver clinical services while promoting and selling Tandem Diabetes products within a designated territory.
• Collaborate with the Territory Manager to strategize and meet sales objectives through clinical acceptance of Tandem products.
• Identify prospective customers and build business relationships to facilitate the sale of products and clinical services.
• Provide clinical and sales assistance as well as product education to trainers, physicians, healthcare staff, and patients.
• Develop strategic plans for the territory in conjunction with the Territory Manager to address clinical issues and support sales and relationship retention.
• Identify sales leads and evaluate prospecting criteria.
• Promote Tandem’s market presence and distinguish its products and clinical services.
• Educate prospects and clients on healthcare trends, web-based solutions, Tandem products, services, outcomes, and population health management.
• Complete product training, documentation, and communications with healthcare professionals.
• Establish and nurture professional relationships with healthcare providers.
• Conduct initial and ongoing recertification for Tandem Pump Trainers.
• Work in conjunction with technical and clinical support teams on post-sale product concerns and patient education requirements.
• Maintain customer relationship management records.
• Develop and uphold a territory call cycle.
• Ensure adherence to Privacy/HIPAA and other regulatory, legal, and safety standards.
• Report sales and business-process responsibilities to the Regional Sales Manager and collaborate with the Regional Clinical Manager on clinical obligations and compliance.
• RN, RD, RPh, or a comparable combination of education and relevant job experience.
• Advanced Diabetes Education Professional Credential: CDCES or BC-ADM certified or eligible.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in coordinating and conducting patient education on the technical use of diabetes technology.
• Experience in video remote education is preferred.
• Capability to effectively interact with patients, referral sources, and healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in communicating as a clinical expert on diabetes, diabetes technology, Automated Insulin Delivery, and diabetes management software systems.
• Ability to present educational content clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving market.
• 1 year of relevant experience in the diabetes/endocrinology industry is preferred.
• Willingness to travel at least 80% within the assigned territory.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license, required auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
• Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Target earning potential ranging from $126,000 to $148,000 annually.
