This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Create clinical databases for new studies according to requirement specifications across various electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
• Implement post go-live modifications (database updates) in response to revised requirement specifications in diverse EDC systems and provide impact assessments for these modifications.
• Conduct Unit Testing on database designs, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, and resolve UAT issues.
• Establish and configure the development environment for new studies.
• Assist in the development of the Database Integration Specification (DIS) with other systems, provide Integration Technical Details (ITD) as required, program the integration, and support the integration testing.
• Aid the Data Manager in examining and resolving issues related to the database design.
• Review study design requirement specifications for assigned projects to ensure compliance with EDC platform standards and Everest Standards.
• Maintain timelines for database design and advocate effective project management practices.
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements, industry trends, benchmarking, and best practices in data management and database design through reading, relevant training, and associated activities.
• Validate and distribute real-time study monitoring reports to the Sponsor and internal team members.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or Computer Science.
• One year of experience in clinical database design, including the development of clinical databases using DFdiscover, InForm, Medidata Rave, Clinical One, and/or other EDC systems.
• Relevant software programming experience related to the programming languages and design applications utilized in clinical research.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with personnel at all professional and administrative levels.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills in complex team environments, with the capability to cultivate relationships with both internal and external clients.
• Proven ability to effectively organize and coordinate the activities of information processing personnel.
• Highly organized, capable of working independently, and adept at managing multiple projects/tasks effectively.
