Clinical Database Designer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create clinical databases for new studies according to requirement specifications across various electronic data capture (EDC) systems.

• Implement modifications to the database post go-live in response to updated requirement specifications.

• Conduct Unit Testing on database design, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, and resolve any UAT issues.

• Establish and configure the development environment for new studies.

• Examine study design requirement specifications for assigned projects to ensure compliance with EDC platform standards and Everest Standards.

• Authenticate and distribute real-time study monitoring reports to the Sponsor and internal team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences or Computer Science.

• A minimum of one year of experience in clinical database design, including the development of clinical databases in DFdiscover, InForm, Medidata Rave, Clinical One, or other EDC systems.

• Relevant software programming experience in the programming languages and design applications utilized in clinical research.

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with personnel at all professional and administrative levels.

• Strong interpersonal skills for navigating complex team dynamics.

• Proven ability to efficiently organize and coordinate the activities of information processing personnel.

• Must possess excellent organizational skills and be capable of working independently while managing multiple projects/tasks effectively.
