Clinical Data Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Review clinical and laboratory data for precision, consistency, and thoroughness.

• Identify discrepancies that require clarification from study sites.

• Utilize clinical, laboratory, or patient-care expertise to detect implausible or inconsistent data.

• Compose and issue data inquiries to sites following established guidelines and templates.

• Cross-verify data across laboratory results, concomitant medications, adverse events, and medical history.

• Review medical coding with assistance from senior reviewers.

• Highlight data quality trends, protocol compliance issues, and training requirements.

• Aid in audit preparedness by adhering to SOPs and maintaining precise documentation.

• Engage in Protocol Deviation, Data Review and Quality Team (DRQT), and Safety Monitoring Team (SMT) meetings.

• Support the creation of listings, trackers, and presentations for data review meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an Associate or Bachelor's degree, or hold a diploma or certificate along with relevant practical experience in a life sciences, laboratory, or allied health discipline.

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical, laboratory, dental, or healthcare environment, including internships, clinical placements, or externships.

• Comfortable with reading and interpreting patient data such as vital signs, lab results, medication and allergy lists, treatment or procedure notes, or charts.

• Knowledgeable in medical terminology and precise documentation practices.

• Effective communicator in both written and spoken English, with a keen eye for detail.

• Well-organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.

• Proficient in MS Excel and Office applications.

• Relevant certification or licensure is a plus.

• Experience with EHR/EMR, practice management, or LIMS systems is advantageous.

• Interest in oncology or other specialized fields is desirable.
