Clinical Data Abstractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Extract and evaluate pertinent longitudinal data from patient medical records with remarkable accuracy and efficiency, upholding the highest quality standards.

• Cultivate in-depth knowledge of our exclusive disease model, ontology, and internal annotation tools to enhance productivity and data integrity.

• Assist in quality assurance efforts, pilot annotation initiatives, and the creation of training materials to consistently elevate our processes and team capabilities.

• Collaborate with the clinical annotation team to ensure consistency in data extraction methods and fulfill delivery commitments to all research partners.

• Exhibit adaptability and a cooperative attitude when responding to new content areas and changing project requirements, embracing opportunities for learning.

• Recognize avenues for process enhancements and contribute to platform improvements through testing, feedback, and issue identification.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing clinical care for patients with rare genetic disorders, preferably in pediatric neurologic, metabolic, and cardiovascular conditions.

• Active licensure as a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Genetic Counselor in good standing.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, demonstrated by successful work within cross-functional teams.

• Background in healthcare data annotation, chart reviews, or research data entry is advantageous.

• Established knowledge of data privacy regulations (HIPAA) and best practices in data security.

• Strong proficiency in utilizing technology and software tools for data analysis, with a proven ability to quickly adapt to new platforms.
