This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Relay both urgent and non-urgent medical results among radiologists, referring physicians, and healthcare providers across various hospital systems.
• Communicate urgent and non-urgent medical results between radiologists, referring physicians, and healthcare providers throughout multiple hospital systems.
• Act as a vital point of contact, addressing communication challenges and assisting patients, physicians, technologists, and radiologists.
• Facilitate prompt call transfers and direct communication between referring physicians and radiologists as necessary.
• Ensure that critical findings, STAT reads, and significant positive results are communicated to the appropriate healthcare professionals while adhering to HIPAA regulations and addressing general reporting-related inquiries within approved guidelines.
• An Associate’s degree or equivalent healthcare experience is preferred; a Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in radiology technology, with a solid understanding of medical terminology and healthcare operations preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) platforms.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, coupled with a strong customer service focus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and the capability to multitask, work independently, and prioritize tasks with a high sense of urgency.
