Clinical Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver clinical and technical assistance in hospital environments utilizing EP technology for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias.

• Offer regional procedural case coverage in electrophysiology laboratories and/or surgical rooms.

• Serve as a clinical liaison between the medical community and the business sector.

• Establish and maintain clinical relationships with clients while sharing expertise on products.

• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of EP products, including technical specifications, software usage, and functionalities.

• Provide engineering, sales, education, and clinical support for Abbott EP products.

• Assist EP Sales Representatives through collaboration, regional training seminars, clinical research/data collection, troubleshooting, and product training or demonstrations.

• Cultivate engineering, sales, and technical skills that align with the territory strategy.

• Remain updated on industry advancements, regulatory standards, company and competitor offerings, market trends, and strategic objectives.

• Supply management with insights on market trends and customer feedback.

• Occasionally travel for in-person training and live procedure support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

• Confirmation that you will meet all vendor credentialing criteria, which may include COVID-19 vaccination.

• Capability to provide clinical and technical assistance in hospital settings.

• Ability to support electrophysiology procedures in laboratories and/or operating rooms.

• Proficiency in learning and utilizing EP products, software, cardiac mapping, diagnostic, and therapeutic systems.

• Willingness to travel; approximately 50% of the time.

• Capacity to engage in work involving prolonged periods of sitting and standing.

• Competence to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
