This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Assist customers with method verification and correlation studies (precision, accuracy, reportable range) in accordance with CLSI standards.
• Engage in site readiness assessments, installation coordination, validation planning, and customer implementation meetings.
• Provide on-site, supplementary training for operators at various competency levels (super users, bench technicians, supervisors).
• Encourage the adoption of Stago’s digital training resources to enhance learning after the go-live phase.
• Offer subject-matter expertise in hemostasis testing, including workflow design, reflex logic, quality control approaches, and optimal use of Stago assays.
• Assist customers in grasping assay principles, performance characteristics, and considerations for practical interpretation.
• Utilize data-driven insights from reagent usage, quality control trends, and error codes to provide recommendations to customers.
• Deliver both on-site and remote application support for Stago systems, efficiently diagnosing and resolving issues.
• Offer guidance to customers regarding CAP/CLIA/IQCP documentation and compliance practices.
• Collaborate with internal and customer stakeholders to establish LIS interfaces, flags, and auto-verification rules.
• Actively monitor reagent use, quality control performance, maintenance routines, and service interactions.
• A Bachelor's degree in a related field from a four-year college or university or an equivalent qualification is required.
• MT(ASCP) Certification or equivalent is strongly preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a medical technologist with coagulation exposure; experience with Stago products or 3 years in an IVD applications specialist role is preferred.
• A current driver's license is essential.
• A passport is preferred.
• Over 80% travel is expected based on territory and company needs, including overnight stays and air travel, sometimes on short notice.
• A strong understanding of QC/Westgard rules, CLSI validation protocols, IQCP, and regulatory requirements is necessary.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Windows Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required.
