This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze, design, install, maintain, and support computer information systems within a hospital setting.

• Provide support for Healthy Planet in the Epic system.

• Act as the primary IT contact and resource for designated user departments.

• Assess information needs within departments and propose viable solutions.

• Execute low-complexity system modifications in alignment with change-management policies.

• Deliver continuous support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems related to clinical information systems.

• Collaborate with users, IT staff, and vendors to coordinate problem resolution.

• Thoroughly test system changes prior to production and monitor the outcomes of implementations.

• Review current systems and suggest enhancements or opportunities for better utilization.

• Analyze business requirements and design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and support software solutions.

• Administer software applications, providing support and troubleshooting assistance.

• Manage hospital software and hardware, as well as operating system support and analytic data retrieval services.

• Document tasks, software processes, and resources for support.

• Create and conduct user training sessions, along with developing training materials and project-management training.

• Ensure end-user system security, manage access requests and terminations, and perform regular access audits.

• Report any security breaches to IT management.

• Engage in ongoing education and undertake additional assignments as needed.

• Report directly to the Manager/Clinical Applications Manager.


⛳️ Requirements

• An associate degree in computer science, information technology, nursing, or a related field is required.

• A bachelor's degree is preferred.

• A 2:1 ratio of relevant technical experience may be considered in place of each year of required education.

• Two years of experience in Information Technology, clinical operations, or a related field.

• Experience ranging from 2 to 5 years is required; experience in system design and programming is preferred.

• No specific license or certification is required.

• General knowledge of software and the ability to manage projects related to hospital information systems and personal computer systems.

• Experience in major systems development and implementation.

• Understanding of project management principles and controls.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to multitask and work both independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and other computer applications.

• Capability to crawl under or around furniture and equipment to access wiring and outlets.

• Light lifting, pushing, and pulling of weights ranging from 1 to 20 lbs occasionally; frequent movement of objects under 10 lbs.

• Ability to engage in frequent sitting, with some walking, standing, squatting, bending, and reaching activities.

• Keyboard/computer use and repetitive motions may be necessary.
